Micah went bowling with some students. He got a kick out of the bowling shoes. Who knew that bowling shoes could get even more crazy looking than in the states??

So, maybe my dear husband has a foot fetish. :)
This week a Muslim Scholar held a lecture called "Christian Evangelicalism: A Modern Political Religion and its Implications for Muslims." Strangely enough we agreed with a lot of what they had to say. The focus was on the problems and concerns with dispensationalism or Christian Zionism. Some days it is good to be reformed! :)

There is a resturant/bar that is situated right across from these famous towers! It was an amazing experience.

These signs are common in hotels and various places. Durian smells really bad. We still have not tried it, because it is not in season yet. I don't know what the bottom fruit is. There are so many fruits that we have not heard of here.

Valentine's Day we went on a family date. We took the train to an Indian Restaurant.

Micah took this while riding on the back of Ian's motorcycle. This is a huge, 4 or 5 story mall plus at least 5 to 6 car park levels above the mall. This country is serious about their malls!

those pictures are awesome! i tried durian when i was in thailand and well, its not the worst thing i've eaten i guess! i have often wondered if varessa (with her lack of smell) could eat durian and think it tastes delicious! haha i'll be interested to know what you think about it!
the other fruit is like jackfruit. I don't think it is as smelly as durian. But we love the taste of durian. It is very rich.
