Meeting new friends!

We have been meeting lots of new people!  I love living in a college apartment building. We found out tonight that the government has a scholarship for local university students who have done well academically in grade school.  They pay for tuition and apartment expenses.  So that helps to explain why there are so many college students here in our midst.  We ate dinner with three students tonight and then walked around the mall.  Two of them are interested in helping us learn the language.  We will have to see if our schedules will permit.  I really liked them.  Hanging out like this allows us to learn so much about the culture and get to know people.  I value this time here.  Last night Micah and Lydia went to dinner and bowling with two guys from Uzbekistan.  He had a great time!  These guys are loads of fun.  They are full of laughter.  I had dinner with the ladies on our team.  Tomorrow we have dinner with our Saudi friend.  The fun never ends!
