Team Retreat

We left Friday to go to an island to have a team retreat. Our team is regional and busy. Team retreats are a time everyone sets aside to focus on our team. We had two and a half days of team meetings. It was great!
The scenery was beautiful!
We have more pics on our camera, but we think our camera is still on the airplane. So sad! These are a few pics Micah got with his phone.
There was a life size chess set by the pool. Lydia really liked the horses.
There were lots of monkeys, birds, cows and water buffalo. I was not familiar with water buffalo, but here they roamed the pastures along the side of the road.

Here is a shot from the airplane.
We returned Monday afternoon. The weather has been nice here. Not so hot! So we have been able to enjoy the playground a bit.
She can now do it all by herself!
Of course, I sit on the bench watching with knots in my stomach. I know little kids fall down on playgrounds, I just don't want my kid to. But she does so well. No boo-boo's this time.
Going "up" the slide is not something you have to teach kids.
Micah and Ray joined us later.
Lydia has been a little hat crazy lately. She loves playing with all of her hats. She wears them around the house often.

Today we toured the labor and delivery section of the hospital. It is shockingly like the hospital I delivered Lydia. That was very comforting. They don't have a family birthing center, so that means Elli will be in a nursery. But the nursery is well staffed. Today there were more nurses than babies. It's nice to know we won't be neglected. Everyone was so nice! I am looking forward to meeting our little Elli there. Lydia toured with us. I tried to explain as we went, but she seems so clueless.

Another thing I just remembered... Lydia has learned to take off her clothes. She hasn't done it in public yet. Only at home and once at a team meeting.
Look at her go! She can move her body and pump her legs to keep herself swinging.
Can you tell Lydia has a fat eye? She got a mosquito bite right below her eye lid.
