Thank you KCP!!!!

Saturday we received a package full of birthday cards from our KCP family!!  Micah and I sat down and read each one aloud.  We had to take short breaks when our tears clouded our vision and our voices were quivering.  The words of love and encouragement meant more than I could have ever imagined!  Having your prayers and love and support gives us strength.  We are in a time of really missing our family and our church at home.  I have also struggled with feeling the task is too big.  I thank God for Birthdays that have brought us to your minds that we would be so blessed to be showered with such words of encouragement and gifts of love.  Thank you!  Thank you!!

That was the highlight of our weekend, but the rest of it was pretty good too.

We went to dinner and Lydia decided that she does not want to sit in highchairs anymore.  Now at home or out she is determined to sit in a big girl chair.

This restaurant, like many, had a pool of water with fish swimming in it.  Lydia has become fond of fish.

Friday morning our friends from church had their first baby.  We went to visit baby Naomi that evening before cell group.

Lydia was ecstatic!  It took all she had not to climb into bed with the precious little one.  She wanted to hold and play with the baby so badly.  It was good to get a feel for what it will be like when we are in the hospital having our own baby girl addition.

Micah took a random shot of us at cell group getting ready to sing before Bible study.  You can see Phyli and Janice in the back quickly trying to through together the songs we will sing.  :)

Lydia loves it when we sing.  She can't help but clap.  Even when no one else is clapping, she is steadily clapping away and mumbling sounds to make herself feel like she is singing along.  She can be pretty cute.  And you can also see my ever growing belly.  I am almost 6 months pregnant.  I can't keep up with the weeks.  So you will have to do the math to figure out that one.
