Lydia has picked up her daddy's "yeah" response. It may sound cute now, but this could cause problems later. Lydia really does walk around the house saying elephant. At the dinner table, when she wakes up from a nap, during commercial breaks... Her most recent favorite shape for mommy to draw is a heart. She will give me her paper and pen and say "heart". She also has learned that mommy and daddy will sing on command. She says "song" and we sing a song like the wheels on the bus go round and round, twinkle twinkle little star, abc's, Jesus loves me, row row row your boat, Old McDonald had a farm, etc.
Did you catch that? She said triangle, heart and circle. Triangle is my favorite. She is not sure how to end the word, so she just keeps on mumbling for a few seconds. It is so funny.
