We are finally back into the swing of things...

Lydia and I have been trying to get over a stomach bug for too long.  Yesterday and today we were able to go swimming!!!  It was so fun!  We see our beautiful pool sitting empty too often!  It is so nice to be able to go and keep our pool company.  Lydia is getting the hang of kicking.  She is starting to realize that if she kicks she can move around in the water.  She is more afraid of the kiddy pool than the big pool.  Go figure??  She will take off from me in her mini intertube and sail the big pool.  But she will not leave the steps of the kiddy pool.  We plan to go to Ian and Darlene's tomorrow to swim with their kids.  Happy 4th of July all you Americans!!  Enjoy your cook outs and fireworks!!  We will be celebrating from a far.  Well, we like any excuse to celebrate.  I think instead of hotdogs we should celebrate with ice cream and of course swimming.
