Micah's soccer games are a highlight for our family. We love being outside in the grass running around, laying around, playing around. Micah is doing quite well. He is adjusting to the flip flop between indoor and outdoor soccer. The men on the outdoor team seem really appreciative of him being there. Many of them are warming up and initiating conversations with us. I helped watched some of the kids last night while the dads played. The wives don't come as often as I do. I think the heat is something to avoid at all costs for most locals. Our friend from church, the friend that invited Micah to play in this mens' league, is becoming a closer friend. He and Micah have had time to really get to know each other on a more intimate level. Micah has enjoyed hearing his heart for ministry and his heart for the Lord.
Micah leaves Monday to go on a short trip with a college student he has been spending time with. It will be a great opportunity for them to spend more time one on one time together.
Lydia and I are starting to look for baby stuff that we may need/want. I am checking prices to see if we can budget all that we want. We will have to wait until we know if this baby is a boy or a girl before the real preparation begins.
