Finally a picture of Micah and I. We are so consumed with taking pics of our precious Lydia.

Here is Lydia sitting at the foot of the kitchen sink. While I cook and clean dishes Lydia insists on sitting at my feet. She often brings in a book or a toy to keep her busy while she waits. It's really sweet having her at my feet. Sometimes she insists on being between my feet. That can make things tricky.

Every Monday night Lydia and Daddy have a date while mommy goes out with a couple of ladies from our church. This week they went to the mall by our house with some college students to eat. Lydia turns on her laid back look when she gets in the stroller. She looks so big in this picture. Her size 4 shoes are finally starting to fit. She has been a 3 for so long. I was having trouble finding her size here. Many of the 3's do not have real soles. I guess they think babies who don't really walk wear size 3.

Lydia has mastered putting on our slippers. When Micah got the camera to capture this photo, Lydia struck a pose.
Last night we took our guests out for Mexican. It was really nice having them around. They have high hopes we will visit them in Iran. I don't know if that will ever happen, but it was really sweet to see how much they wanted us to come be their guests and see their country. Micah drove them to the airport early this morning. I think Lydia will have to adjust to not having people around. She is a social butterfly. Ready to go out and meet the world.
We leave for Spain Tuesday. We are trying to make sure we have enough cooler weather clothes. I bought Lydia a couple of long sleeved shirts and Micah a couple pair of pants. And along the way I happen to find several things for myself. :) Darlene gave us Raewyn's light jacket that she had out grown for Lydia. I think we are about ready. Now it's just cleaning and laundry. My mom taught me to clean the house really good before leaving for a trip, so that when you return you can come home to a nice clean house. Thanks mom!! You have taught me little ways to make life more enjoyable.
