Well, much has happened in just a few weeks.
Let me start with Lydia’s baptism. The Lord is faithful! I honestly did not understand pedo baptism like I would like. I trust the PCA church and have read up on the matter a little. It was coming down to the week of Lydia’s baptism and I was praying each day, “Lord please show me the importance and significance of Baptizing our baby girl.” A few days before Sunday I was reading 1 Corinthians 7:12-14. Paul speaks to brothers with unbelieving wives and wives with unbelieving husbands and says in verse 14, “For the unbelieving husband has been sanctified through his wife and the unbelieving wife has been sanctified by her believing husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but as it is, they are holy.” The Lord also turned my attention to the promise He made to Abraham saying, “I will be the God of your children and your children’s children.” Our Lydia is named after Lydia in Acts 16. When the Lord opened her eyes to the Truth the Bible says her whole house hold was saved. This Baptism is not merely Micah and I making a promise to God to raise Lydia in the way she should go according to His Holy Word. Though that is significant, this Baptism is also proclaiming the promise God has made to us! What a joy it is to share in His suffering and His blessings. When Sunday came I was overwhelmed to the point of tears. Praise God for His faithfulness and His unfailing Love!!
Also in the past few weeks were able to make snow angels and sled in the snow until the wee hours of the morning. After midnight the snow turned somewhat icy, making sledding down a slope in the yard a scary endeavor.

We celebrated my dad’s birthday. Happy Birthday Grandpa Rock!! He is 48, not quite to the “Old” mark yet. :)
My dad was in the hospital last week. He is home now and going strong. It is hard for anything to hold him back for long.
And support raising, We are still pursuing churches and individuals. We have has a very encouraging few weeks. We have had couples and a church come on to our support team. This was unexpected and led Micah and I to worship the Lord in a fresh way. The Lord is faithful and will raise our support for us. Why do we fret and doubt. He will accomplish His purposes.
Well, I think that gets you caught up. We would appreciate your prayers. It has been hard lately trying to figure out our new roles as parents. Pray that Micah and I would spend our time wisely and make time for each other. I see a lack of communication on my part with Micah and others. Pray that the Lord would search me and know my anxious thoughts and cleanse me of all unrighteousness, that I may go to others with a pure heart.
Love,
Blair
