1. I opened the meat the same day I bought it. And it smelled rotten.
2. I washed the cabbage and found worms. Red, shiny, worms flopping about under the running water.
3. I rinsed the rice and let it soak. Then I found little dead black bugs mixed in with the washed rice.
Am I doing something wrong. I have never found bugs in food this much! And that's not to mention the on going battle of keeping ants out of the cabinets. It is robbing me of an appetite.

I TOTALLY understand!!! Once I peeled a banana for the boys and there were so many white maggots inside! Grossssssssss!!!!!!! All my friends act like weevils in the rice are common place here. They just scoop them out and continue. But, aiyo, how many times have I thrown away spoiled chicken. Now I like to choose my chicken from the mounds at Mydin...I smell each piece. I'm sure I look crazy, but hey you got do what you gotta do, right? :-)
