We have a home group (called Cell Group or CG) we attend every Friday night. It is a group of people from our partner church that get together to talk about the sermon the previous Sunday. We have grown close to our CG. Sunday we celebrated Andrew's 5th Birthday. He and his family attend out CG.

It was at a huge indoor kids activity place called Jungle Gym.

Lydia we quite tired, but did not seem to mind once she saw the brightly colored jungle gym.

I was quite impressed with the cleanliness. It is a fairly new place, but they go to extra precautions to keep it clean. You are required to wear socks to enter the play area. No shoes of course.

The most exciting part... the ball pit!

Lydia and the birthday boy!

This was her second round of playing. We had to take a break and go back for seconds.

She began to realize it was difficult to get around in all those balls. She started yelling, "Mama, Mama!" Over and over. But it didn't slow her down. She would have gone all night, but we pulled her out again to sing Happy Birthday.

This birthday party was special for lots of reasons. 1) It reminded me of home. It was just like a typical American little kid birthday party. I was expecting something a little different, but maybe it's not American or Asian, but little kid party that made it feel so familiar. 2) It was Lydia's first official invite to a friend's Birthday Party! And she loved it! 3) Andrew and his family are sweet friends of ours. It was fun to celebrate with them and the rest of our CG and others.
