Lydia eating her carrots all by herself.
Who taught her to cover her mouth when she is laughing?  She is growing up too fast.
Ready to go swimming again!  My little water baby.
These are some of the ladies from our church.  We get together Wednesday mornings for Bible study and prayer.
We went to Phil and Barb's to celebrate Phil's Birthday.  Lydia loved the pineapple upside down cake.
Phil had his favorite, Shoe Fly Pie.  I was not familiar with this pie, but it was not too bad.  Evidently it is a northern thing.

Lydia is getting pretty adventurous with her climbing.  It seems she is trying to get hurt.  She fell Thursday as she was climbing onto a stool.  She bumped her head on the corner of our T.V. stand.  I was more shaken up than anyone.  Pray she gets through this phase unharmed.  Pray I get through this phase without a heart attack.

Micah is spending Saturday in a small village with the indigenous people.  These are the people who were here before any colonization.  Our partnership church serves this community by helping them get medical attention as well as education.  Micah will be helping teach English.  Similar to the Native Americans in earlier years, this people group has been taken from their home land and pushed to the outskirts of society.

While Micah is away in the villages, Lydia and I made another Ikea run.  This has to be at least our 5th time.  I returned the drawers I bought last week that are not a filing cabinet.  I intended to get a filing cabinet to help Micah organize his office.  I hope I got the right thing this time.

We are putting along just fine here in our parts.  Any comments are greatly appreciated!!  We love to hear from anyone who thinks of us!!!

I enjoy keeping up with you by reading your blog. Sounds like you are doing well. I continue to be amazed at Lydia's abilities for her age. We just spent a few days with our kids that live three hours from here, helping them settle in to a lovely new home. Their youngest is our youngest grandchild, 21 months now. She's doing fantastic with her talking. What a fun age. I hope you get a car soon!

Lydia is ridiculous. how adorable. I miss ya'll so much! Titus is crawling now! and pulling up on things. i totally understand about having a heart-attack these days. I turn around and he's hanging onto a chair on his tip-toes. not too many bumps so far, but I see it coming soon. Has Lydia had any troubles adjusting? we did a class on preparing the family to be overseas and talked a lot about adjustment, but they didn't talk much about Titus and Lydia's age. just curious. love you!

Blair,
I love coming to read your blog and catching a glimpse of what your family is up to and what the Lord is doing with and through yall! Everytime I read it I come away uplifted, encouraged, and energized. Your honesty is so refreshing. Y'all are SO precious and so very LOVED!!! Mom said there hasn't been a single somewhat-chilly day that Zach hasn't worn Micah's coat - yall made such a huge impact on his life. Know that you're constantly being lifted up in prayer!! (Give that PRECIOUS Lydia extra hugs from us all!!)

So I can't believe that you though shoo fly pie was only 'okay'!!! It's just delish! It really is an Amish thing - not just a northern thing - like funnel cakes and friendship bread. Your blog is terrific to read, and your apartment looks so cozy and modern. I can tell your homemaker influence is at work. I loved the photo of your ladie's Bible study! You have more people than we do right now!!!!! We love and miss you, Blair (and Micah, too). Praying.
Love, Tina
