Lydia watches me intently each morning as I sit and put on make-up and fix my hair. She grabs anything and everything in reach. If I am not careful she grabs make-up brushes and paints her face. As soon as I get up she is ready to jump onto the stool and have her turn in front of the mirror.
Here is a little peak into a moment of everyday life.
So she's not saying a lot in English, but she is saying a lot. She seems to be getting more and more vocal. Always making noise of some sort. She is trying to mimic us now. That is lots of fun. But she only plays on her time, she is not an on demand girl. I keep waiting to find a great video to put on our blog, but really the great moments are hard to catch on camera and impossible to recreate. So this little picture of normal life will have to suffice for now. :)

Oh my gosh her little voice is sooo cute and sweet. I DID hear her say grandma! She is such a precious gift and I am glad you have to keep you entertained and in stitches while you are on this trip. Can’t wait to see more pics and videos of you silly little girl. Oh and I LOVE all the Ikea stuff. That’s one of the best stores and I am so glad you have one close to you.
This is Julianne. I love to see Lydia's movie over and over. She is so cute! And she is really learning to talk. I think she was saying "kitty" as well as "Grandma". I love her little flower lamp and frog clothes hamper. I have started playing soccer and I really like it. I bet Lydia would like to kick the ball with me. Deanna is going to be Mrs. Potts in Beauty and the Beast this May, and she is going to prom. Valerie is still playing tennis. She tried out to be a basketball cheerleader but she decided she didn't like it. That's all for now. I love you! Julianne Heine
Of course this tops my all time favorite video of Lydia. I actually heard her say "Grandma" who knew it would be one of the last times? I seem to be "maw maw" these days, but I still hold out hope for Grandma to come back.
Who knew it would take Grandma 6 months to figure out how to post a comment?
