Oh the Ups and Downs

Oh how faithful our God is!! Last week Micah and I were feeling the battle of believing Truth in the face of the lies of our flesh and this world. We heard that our dear friends Roy and Kristy were leaving to begin their journey to the field. This was much harder for me than I anticipated. Now the whole team will be together soon putting into actions those things we have talked about and prayed over. To believe that the Lord's timing is perfect was nearly impossible. Micah was so sweet to bring me before the Throne of Grace as I was struggling with being discontent with where the Lord has us. Sunday was a great day of being in the presence of the Lord and fellowshiping with the Body of Christ. I was reminded of what a joy and privilege it is to share the Lord's work in S. E. Asia with those here. To be able to worship as we speak of the things the Lord is doing around the world!! Praise the Lord that He has called me to be a part of His work. Pray for our team as they travel and arrive in S. E. Asia. Pray that we would be able to join them soon. Pray that we would believe the Lord's timing is perfect and our time here is not in vain. Pray that Micah and I would draw closer to one another during this time.
